GARDEN GROUP MEETING, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO SAVE AND PLANT YOUR OWN SEEDS, NEW LOCATION, 885 Eastlake Blvd, NV Div of Forestry Office, 6:30 pm, May 15, potluck appetizers and beverages
If you ever wanted to save your own seeds, how to store, which ones to save, and how to use the next season, this is the meeting for you – well, and just if you want go get together with your neighbors, too! We are please to have Assistant Professor Melinda Yerka, from UNR’s Department of Agriculture, who specializes in seeds and will tell you everything you need to know about them. If you use the right kind of seeds, this could save you lots and begin to actually produce our own Washoe Valley varieties here. Join us for a fun evening of of information we can use and time with neighbors.
Because we are meeting in a smaller meeting room, (much), please come a little early and plan to assist with setup and rearranging the room a bit to help accomodate, and let’s JUST HAVE APPETIZERS OR FINGER FOODS AND BEVERAGES TO SHARE for this meeting. This will not be a full potluck.
It will help a lot of you can bring a few folding chairs that do not take up much space so we can get everyone in.
